Chocolate Fondue Strain: A Peculiar Hybrid

Chocolate Fondue is a fantastic Sativa dominant hybrid strain bred by DNA Genetics and is definitely one of the favourites here at Choom.

Its THC levels typically range from 20% to 26%, and this strain carefully balances the Sativa-like effects of Chocolope, with the Indica dominant effects of Exodus Cheese.

Main terpenes of Chocolate Fondue include beta-caryophyllene, humulene and limonene. In our Niagara Falls shop Chocolate Fondue is one of the more popular pre-rolls, with customers often opting for the 2 x 0.5 g packs.

Chocolate Fondue Appearance

The buds of this delightful strain are petite and dark green, sprinkled with delicate brownish and orange hairs.

Chocolate Fondue Taste and Aroma

Chocolate Fondue has a complex bouquet of varying flavours. Once lit, it gives out a very distinctive taste, and the smell doesn’t really do it much justice.

This strain possesses a wide range of spicy, sweet and cheesy undertones, with a subtly soothing taste of chocolate on the exhale.

Chocolate Fondue also has a pretty pungent and overpowering taste, so if you’re not the biggest fan of cheesy weed it might not be a bad idea to opt out for a different Sativa dominant hybrid.

Chocolate Fondue Effects

Chocolate Fondue is a lot more potent than many other cultivars, which is a fact that made this strain a beloved fan favourite.

This strain is also considered quite powerful, and greater quantities of Chocolate Fondue are known to induce anxiety and paranoia in people who are just starting with cannabis.

Chocolate Fondue is a very popular and potent hybrid that starts off as a Sativa strain.

The onset of psychoactive effects commences in a classical Sativa-fashion, and the high is later on influenced by an array of effects that are much more reminiscent of Indica flowers.

Since it’s a Sativa dominant hybrid, it’s not really ideal for lounging around while watching Netflix.

Chocolate Fondue Growing Requirements

Chocolate Fondue is fairly easy to grow. It has a flowering period of 8~9 weeks, and has a solid above-average yield.

It can be considered good for beginner growers, and it’s capable of flourishing in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The Choom Gang

It began in 1979 with a group of friends on a small hawaiian island, with an even smaller van. This weed loving crew would go on to influence our world, but back then it wasn’t about the future, it was about having good times with good friends. Plenty has changed since then, but one thing remains the same; they are still sharing adventures, sparking ideas, and cultivating good times.
