Shishkaberry: The Turbulent Herb

Shishkaberry, otherwise known as “Kish” is a 80/20 Indica dominant hybrid that came about from crossing DJ Short Blueberry with an undisclosed Afghani cultivar.

This strain was originally created by a group of anonymous growers, and it won second place for best Indica strain at the 2001 High Times’ Cannabis Cup.

The average THC level in Shishkaberry strain is around 15%.

Some versions of Shishkaberry are not an ideal option for novice users, as their THC content can max out at a whopping 26%. However, the average THC level for this strain is around 15%, which allows hypersensitive individuals to consume it in moderate amounts.

The not so patient cultivators will also enjoy Shishkaberry’s rapid flowering time which averages from 7 to 9 weeks, but can begin as early as 45 days.

Although it’s a relatively hands-off strain, you will still need to watch out for pests and mold if you’re planning on growing your Shishkaberries outside.
